This formula uses astragalus and licorice to strengthen the spleen's ability to control blood, while the other herbs moisten and nourish the lungs and kidneys, addressing the source of blood or serving as a post-treatment recovery aid.
[Note] This formula originates from "Su Shen Liang Fang." It is also known as Shengdi Huangyin. It treats all blood-related conditions involving yin deficiency.
