This formula nourishes the lungs and stomach while also supplying kidney water, hence the name "Guben," meaning the foundation of the stomach and lungs. The lungs are the foundation of the kidneys, and the kidneys are the foundation of life. When these three organs irrigate each other, the foundation becomes solid, and virtual heat is cleared, so symptoms like steaming, coughing, and regurgitation naturally do not occur.

[Note] This formula originates from Ye's prescription. After abscesses are gone and the organs suffer from blood deficiency, showing signs of fire, this formula provides treatment.
