Modified Di Huang Tang: Sheng Di Huang 12g, Shan Zhu Yu 6g, Shan Yao 9g, Dan Pi 9g, Fu Ling 9g, Ze Xie 9g, Chrysanthemum 15g, Goji Berries 15g, Dang Gui 9g, Chi Shao 9g, Pearl Mother 30g, Loofah 15g. For new cases: Mustard Seed 9g, Lian Qiao 9g, Mint 6g, Huang Qin 6g, Jin Yin Hua 30g; for old cases: Peach Kernel 9g, Hong Hua 3g, Danshen 9g, Su Mu 6g, San Leng 9g, E Zhu 6g. Central retinitis manifests as inflammation in the central part of the retina (macula), caused by macular vascular spasm, hence the name central vascular retinitis. Symptoms include blurred vision, distorted or reduced vision, and a central blind spot. Fundus examination reveals macular edema.
