This formula originates from Gao Jinting's "Collection of Insights on Ulcer Diseases," and is used for various conditions caused by retained dampness or internal damp-heat. The formula consists of eight herbs: Bixie, Sheng Yiren, Huangbo, Chishao, Danpi, Zexie, Huashi, and Mutong. Indications include: ① foot dampness; ② acute eczema; ③ erysipelas; ④ acute urinary tract infection; ⑤ damp tropical discharge; ⑥ impetigo; ⑦ nodular erythema of the lower limbs.

Mnemonic: "Red Zexie, Sheng Yiren, Chishao, Danpi, Huashi, plus Bixie—take it and you'll feel great!"
