Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia – September 1, 2002
During the midsummer of the Renwu year, Mr. Li from Jiangxi Province traveled specially to Lanzhou, bringing with him a prescription that he claimed had been taken over 400 times, along with additional Qing Kou capsules developed by me. He originally suffered from L1, but has now basically recovered. The patient is 21 years old, male, and entered Lanzhou University from Jiangxi Province eight years ago. Shortly after enrollment, he suddenly developed leukemia and was hospitalized in the Hematology Department of Lanzhou Medical First Hospital, where he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (LⅠ). Despite several rounds of chemotherapy, there was no obvious improvement. Through someone’s recommendation, he came to me for treatment, and after taking the traditional Chinese medicine I prescribed, his condition steadily improved. He has now gone two years without undergoing chemotherapy. Recently, the Hematology Department of Jiangxi Medical College performed a bone marrow aspiration, revealing that the original lymphoblasts were only 1.5%, confirming complete remission. In my view, the prescription he brought is my Lanzhou formula, the composition of which has already been mentioned earlier, plus the addition of Qing Kou capsules, composed of the following ingredients: indigo, cardamom, strychnos, and toad venom. The aforementioned formula has been effective for many cases of leukemia, but never with such remarkable results as this one. He said, “Last year, the original granulocytes rose to 3%, but after taking Qing Kou capsules continuously, a follow-up examination one month later showed they had dropped to 1.5%.”
