Case Report on Sciatica Treatment, October 5, 1978

Chi Shao 9g, Gan Cao 3g, Rou Gui 9g, Yan Hu Suo 9g; after taking 4 doses, the pain significantly reduced.

Second Visit: Bai Shao 18g, Gan Cao 6g, Rou Gui 12g, Ma Huang 10g, Xing Ren 9g; after taking 3 doses, the leg could already be extended and the patient was able to walk.

Third Visit: Ma Huang 15g, Xing Ren 9g, Sheng Yi Ren 9g, Bai Zhu 9g, Gan Cao 3g; after taking these herbs, the patient was able to walk to the clinic, but still experienced sharp pain at the greater trochanter and soreness in the lower leg.

Fourth Visit: Wu Di Tao Hong, Wei Ling Xian 15g, Niu Xi 12g, Du Huo 9g, Cang Zhu 9g, Fang Feng 9g, Hai Feng Teng 12g. (Zhang Liu Jie, Quanzhou Hospital, Fujian Province)
