A Single Formula for Rheumatoid Arthritis, July 20, 1992

I usually treat this disease using Sang Zhi Tang, Gui Zhi Shao Yao Zhi Mu Tang, Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang, Jiu Wei Qiang Huo Tang, Da Qin Jiao Tang, and San Yin Tong Pi Tang. Recently, I came across a formula in the “Chinese Medicine Digest” (Issue 3, 1992) called “Snake and Insect Powder,” which primarily consists of white snake, roasted centipede, roasted scorpion, roasted bee hive, wide earthworm, white silkworm pupa, and black-striped snake, among other insect-based medicines, and claims significant therapeutic effects. Based on this, in the future, when treating rheumatoid arthritis, it would be advisable to add three or four insect-based medicines for observation.
