There are several surgical methods for this condition: ① splenectomy with retroperitoneal fixation of the greater omentum; ② splenectomy with spleno-renal venous shunt; ③ splenectomy with ligation of vessels around the cardia; ④ splenectomy with ligation and pyloric reconstruction; ⑤ splenectomy with ligation and intragastric vascular ligation.

① Paravertebral tenderness; ② Simultaneous radiating pain and numbness in the ipsilateral lower limb; ③ Limited straight-leg raising test below 70°, with pain upon initiation; ④ Significant reduction in dorsiflexion strength of the big toe; ⑤ Objective numbness or sensory loss on the lateral side of the lower leg.
