Ten years ago, I used a formula consisting of earth-bug, wasp nest, whole scorpion, centipede, and pangolin (earth-bug, wasp nest, whole scorpion, centipede, and pangolin) to effectively treat cervical lymph node tuberculosis. Later, I also came across an article in the Zhejiang Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine that described using dried and powdered snake turtle and gecko, mixed together and encapsulated, for treating cervical lymph node tuberculosis. This demonstrates that insect-based medicines are indeed effective in treating tuberculosis. Fifteen years ago, I successfully treated Mr. Zhang from the Provincial Film Distribution Company, and twenty years ago, I cured Mr. Meng from Mengjiashan in Ganquan Commune, both using the Five-Insect Pill, which is entirely composed of insect-based medicines. In addition, insect-based medicines have proven efficacy in treating chronic pharyngitis as well. The insect-based compound used to treat thrombophlebitis includes wall water, ginger, and large fragrant herbs; it also contains forsythia, toad skin, and honey, all of which are insect-based medicines.
