In the summer of Bingzi, a patient with thyroid cancer in the ward experienced severe local bleeding that would not stop. After applying the following topical preparation, the bleeding ceased. Sea cucumber shell 30 g, calcined flower stamen stone 20 g, blood residue charcoal 10 g, hedgehog skin charcoal 10 g; all ingredients are ground into powder, sieved, and applied topically.
