Further Discussion on Chronic Pancreatitis—May 26, 1997
The incidence of this disease is far higher than statistical data suggests, and most patients are misdiagnosed. Anyone with upper-left abdominal pain is almost certainly suffering from this disease, and the gallbladder-pancreas combination formula is effective. About 20% of pancreatitis pain is located under the sternum or on the right flank, which is even easier to misdiagnose. There is also a group of patients with neck pain (mostly on the left side), who often have a history of acute attacks, with pancreatic tissue adhering to local nerves, and lower-abdominal pulling pain is also observed in the same way.
