Brief Introduction to Jinqiancao 1997.12.15

Currently, there are three varieties of Jinqiancao available on the market: ① the rhizome of Primula veris, a perennial herbaceous plant; ② the whole plant of Crepis capillaris, also known as Small Jinqiancao; ③ the whole plant of Lysimachia christinae, also known as Lianqiancao. These are three herbal medicines from different families and genera, but their effects are all diuretic, promoting urination, clearing heat, and reducing jaundice. All the aforementioned bile-promoting herbs also have stomach-tonic effects; Jinqiancao mainly clears heat and reduces jaundice, while smaller doses promote stomach health and appetite. Therefore, anyone who wants to strengthen the stomach with bitterness should use small doses.
