Attempt to Convert Hepatitis B Surface Antigen to Negative, March 9, 1998
In the autumn of the Year of the Ox, a patient with a tuberculosis cavity came to Lanzhou for consultation. While I administered anti-tuberculosis drugs, I also gave him Xiong Huang Wu Chong Wan, taking it for three months. The cavity closed by more than half. The patient's spirits improved, his weight increased, his complexion became rosy, and all his original "Big Three Positive" markers turned negative. I thought that Xiong Huang Wu Chong Wan, made by steaming 70 g of realgar inside a large radish, then adding 60 g of silkworm pupae, 60 g of centipedes, 30 centipedes, a pair of geckos, and 60 g of wall lizards, ground into powder and sieved, then encapsulated into 0.25 g capsules, taken three times a day at 3 capsules each time, was a wonderful formula for treating tuberculosis cavities. It has definite efficacy in inhibiting Mycobacterium tuberculosis and also shows significant effects in preventing fibrosis. The conversion of three systems to negative may be related to this, and it can be further practiced clinically in the future.
