5. Good People Are Rewarded
Question: I have had hepatitis B (small three yang) for 16 years. Liver and gallbladder ultrasound shows diffuse changes in the liver, but liver function and complete blood count are normal, as are the four liver fibrosis indicators. The virus is at low replication. Recently, spider angiomas have appeared on my neck. Am I entering the stage of cirrhosis?
Answer: To diagnose cirrhosis in chronic hepatitis: ① Splenomegaly; ② Reversed albumin/globulin ratio; ③ Portal vein diameter exceeding 1.4 cm. If these indicators are normal, there is no need to worry excessively, as it may affect your immunity and accelerate disease progression.
