2. Qiu Yi
25 years old, has been reading books or using the computer frequently in recent years. After sitting in front of the computer for a while, her eyes, neck, and shoulder area become sore. She started experiencing these symptoms four or five years ago. When she went to Hubei Province, perhaps due to the relatively humid local climate, the neck pain became even more severe. If the neck is kept warm properly, she feels better. She visited the town hospital, where the doctor said that shoulder pain can be relieved through hot compresses and exercise. What should I do in this situation?
Answer: Long-term work at the computer can lead to cervical spondylosis, periarthritis of the shoulder, elbow arthritis, vision impairment, and other issues. Therefore, colleagues who work at the computer should perform healthy exercises for their head and limbs during work breaks and engage in distance vision exercises outdoors, which can help alleviate the above-mentioned problems to some extent.
