2. Yang Guoke: Lung Fibrosis and Difficulty Breathing After Lung Cancer Surgery
Q: The patient underwent lung cancer surgery in March last year and now suffers from pulmonary fibrosis, with difficulty breathing and constant oxygen therapy. What can be done to treat this?
A: Pulmonary interstitial fibrosis indicates that the patient had a history of chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or cor pulmonale before developing lung cancer, which only made matters worse. Removing a lung lobe does not improve lung function. For such patients, TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment can be quite effective.
