10. Joint Pain During Pregnancy
Question: I'm two months pregnant, but I have back pain. When the weather turns cold, my back and knees ache, just like when I was young. Is this arthritis or rheumatism? Will it affect the baby?
Answer: You may have had joint problems before, which become more severe during pregnancy. This is commonly referred to as "fetal qi," and it doesn't affect the fetus. Don't take medication indiscriminately.
