4. Children's Runny Nose

Answer: A runny nose is a catarrhal symptom of the upper respiratory tract (nasal cavity). Mucosal edema and exudation are usually caused by colds, though sometimes by foreign objects. Both colds and foreign objects have an allergic tendency, so I recommend trying cyproheptadine and diphenhydramine first.
