8. Increased Thyroid Echo
Super Invincible Lucky Scorpio Rat: Recently, my thyroid ultrasound showed increased echo, and I also did thyroid function tests, with TSH at 6.33. I don't have any special symptoms, and the doctor told me to recheck in six months. Should I start treatment now?
Answer: If TSH is elevated, consider whether there's hypothyroidism. If there are symptoms like fatigue, hair loss, edema, or loss of appetite, it can be diagnosed as hypothyroidism and treated accordingly. If there are no such symptoms, temporary observation is fine—just increase exercise, keep a positive mood, and eat more seaweed products.
