13. Epididymal Tuberculosis
Question: If epididymal tuberculosis has not yet manifested, should it be treated? Are there any specific effective medications?
Answer: The characteristic of epididymal tuberculosis is that it is asymptomatic, but nodules can be palpated. Antitubercular drugs are not very effective, because, like exudative pleurisy, it is an allergic reaction caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
