5. Consultation on Neurogenic Tinnitus
Q: I am 39 years old and often experience tinnitus, though my hearing is normal. At night, I frequently dream, and Western medicine diagnoses me with neurogenic tinnitus. I have taken many Western medications without success. How should I treat this condition?
A: This condition is very difficult to treat. Oral administration of methylcobalamin tablets and intramuscular injections of vitamin B₁ and B₁₂ can both provide some relief. If combined with oral traditional Chinese medicine and syndrome differentiation, the therapeutic effect will be even better.
