Pelvic Fracture Combined with Bladder Stones
Question: My mother is 58 years old. Six months ago, she suffered a pelvic fracture in a car accident. Recent follow-up examinations show that the fracture site is healing well, but bladder stones have also been discovered. How should this be treated? What dietary precautions should be taken?
Answer: Bladder stones can be removed via cystoscopic lithotripsy. Previously, the standard method was major surgery involving opening the bladder, whereas the new technique is minimally invasive. TCM also shows relatively good efficacy in treating such cases.
