Pelvic Fracture Combined with Bladder Stones
Q: My mother is 58 years old. Six months ago, she suffered a pelvic fracture in a car accident. Recent follow-up shows that the fracture site is healing well, but bladder stones have also been discovered. How should this be treated? What dietary precautions should be taken?
Answer: Bladder stones can be removed via cystoscopic lithotripsy. Previously, the standard procedure was open bladder surgery, which is invasive, whereas cystoscopic lithotripsy is minimally invasive. TCM treatment is also relatively effective.
