Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Question: A patient with polycystic ovary syndrome has all test results within normal limits, but still does not ovulate. Even after taking ovulation-inducing medication up to the third tablet, no ovulation occurs. Can this condition still be cured?
Answer: The failure to ovulate indicates that your estrogen levels are insufficient. Simply taking ovulation-inducing drugs is not enough; ovulation will only occur when estrogen reaches a certain level. In this regard, traditional Chinese medicine offers many formulas and prescriptions for treatment. Why did ancient China produce so many renowned gynecologists? The late Ming and early Qing dynasties saw outstanding contributions from Fu Qingzhu in this field.
