Question: I’m 28 years old and male. In May, you prescribed me traditional Chinese medicine to treat my Mycoplasma-positive infection and also recommended intravenous azithromycin. By mid-May, the test results turned negative, but a few days later, I began experiencing lower back pain, buttock pain, and testicular pain. Subsequent retests still showed negative for Mycoplasma, but I’m still unsure of the cause. I’ve been receiving treatment here for a month and a half—what should I do next?
Answer: A month and a half isn’t enough time. Even after Mycoplasma turns negative, symptoms can persist for a long time. Continue treatment until the symptoms completely disappear.
