I’ve suffered from allergic purpura for six years, with all test results remaining normal. I’ve been taking medication here for five months and am still continuing treatment, but new, scattered petechiae appear every day. Standing or sitting for a bit longer triggers them, and the treatment effects aren’t obvious. Recently, my appetite has decreased and I’ve felt nauseous. How should I proceed with treatment?
Answer: Five months of TCM treatment doesn’t mean the effects are insignificant—it’s actually very effective. If you stop taking TCM, your kidneys will suffer damage. The probability of allergic purpura progressing to purpuric nephritis without treatment is nearly 100%. Right now, your urine output is normal, which is the biggest positive sign. Please continue treatment and don’t let your guard down—the remaining symptoms will eventually subside completely.
