I am 26 years old and have been experiencing hair loss for five years. My symptoms include extremely oily hair, redness of the scalp, and a few small red bumps. Is there any way to treat my condition?

Answer: There are two types of hair loss: ① alopecia areata, also known as patchy baldness, which is relatively easy to treat—if you persist with treatment, there is no reason it won’t improve; ② seborrheic alopecia, which is more difficult to treat. In my over 50 years of medical practice, I have never successfully cured a patient with this type.
