1.1 Experimental Drugs
Pei's Hematopoietic Granules (composed of Rehmannia, Chinese yam, Cornus fruit, Taizishen, Beishashen, Dangshen, Cinnamon twig, Jujube, Schisandra, honey-fried licorice, and white peony, with each packet containing 36.25 grams of crude herbs), specification: 15 g per packet, produced by the Gansu Provincial Academy of Medical Sciences, batch number 080310; prior to use, dissolve thoroughly in distilled water to prepare the required concentration.
5-Fu injection solution, specification: 0.25 g per vial, manufactured by Shanghai Xudong Haipu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., batch number: 080105.
1.2 Experimental Animals and Tumor Strains
Fifty healthy SPF-grade Kunming mice, half male and half female, weighing 20 ± 2 g, aged 6–8 weeks, provided by the SPF Animal Laboratory of the Gansu Provincial College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with animal quality certificate number: 0000423.
H₂₂ (liver cancer) tumor strain: introduced from the Beijing Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and passaged and preserved by the Gansu Academy of Medical Sciences.

- Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS): Prepare by dissolving 8.0 g NaCl, 3.48 g Na₂HPO₄·12H₂O, 0.20 g KCl, and 0.20 g KH₂PO₄ in distilled water to make 1000 ml, adjust pH to 7.4, autoclave at 121°C for 20 minutes, and store at 4°C for later use.
