General observation shows that in the model control group, starting from the 4th day, the fur becomes disheveled, a tumor is faintly visible under the skin of the right anterior axillary region, food and water intake decrease compared with before, activity slows down, mice huddle together, lie down lazily, become sleepy, and their fur loses luster and becomes dull and tangled. Between the 5th and 7th days after modeling, the tumor grows rapidly, its surface becomes uneven, with multiple nodules visible and unclear boundaries. By the 8th to 10th days, all mice in the group exhibit cachexia, and some develop ascites. Compared with the model control group, mice in all dosage groups of Pei’s Soft Liver and Anti-Ascites Pill have brighter fur and better spirits and diet.
