2. Lung-Kidney Yin Deficiency, Liver Wind Internal Movement
[Symptoms] Shortness of breath and cough, lower back and leg weakness, tidal fever, dry mouth, nocturnal emission, night sweats, emaciation, headache, dizziness, even extreme fatigue and mental confusion, facial and eye asymmetry, stiff neck, and meningitis-like leukemia symptoms. Pulse is weak, tongue is dark red with little coating.
[Treatment] Nourish yin, clear the lungs, and calm the liver and extinguish the wind.
[Prescription] Modified Da Ding Feng Zhu: 15g of shashen, 15g of dang shen, 9g of jilin ginseng root, 9g of mai dong, 4.5g of schisandra, 15g of shan yao, 2g of sour jujube seed, 12g of sheng bai shao, 9g of sheng di huang, 9g of a jiao zhu (dissolved in water), 12g of sheng gui ban, 15g of sheng bie jia, 15g of sheng mu li, 15g of huo ma ren, 3g of golden scorpion (separately ground and dissolved), 3g of centipede (separately ground and dissolved), 2 egg yolks (dissolved in water), decocted and strained, then egg yolks, scorpions, and centipedes are added, along with melted a jiao.
For coma, use An Gong Niu Huang Wan. Beijing
(3) Lung-Kidney-Liver-Spleen Type
Lung deficiency means metal does not generate water, leading to kidney deficiency; water does not nourish wood, causing liver stagnation, which can then result in the pathological mechanism of liver wood overcoming earth, thus forming this type of presentation.

[Symptoms] Shortness of breath and reluctance to speak, lower back and leg weakness, dizziness and vertigo, tightness and fullness in both flanks, discomfort in the stomach, belching and acid reflux, lack of appetite, restlessness, enlarged liver and spleen, loose stools, and a tense, weak pulse with a string-like quality. Tongue is white and greasy.
[Treatment] Tonify qi and nourish yin, soothe the liver and strengthen the spleen.
[Formula] Modified Xiaoyao San: 9g of bie xue chao chai hu, 9g of dang gui, 9g of bai shao, 9g of fu ling, 9g of bai shu, 6g of zhi cao, 15g of dang shen, 9g of cun dong, 4.5g of schisandra, 15g of shan yu rou, 9g of goji berries, 15g of huai shan yao, 9g of jiao sha rou, 9g of shen qu, 9g of huang jing.
For those with enlarged liver and spleen, add danshen, guang yu jin, sheng mu li, sheng bie jia, sheng gui ban, sheng mai ya, chuan shan jia, wa leng zi, tao ren, and hong hua.
For those with swollen lymph nodes, add Xiao Jin Dan (a proprietary Chinese medicine), 3 pills each time (made from white gum, processed caowu, wulingzhi, dried earthworm, soil insect, frankincense, myrrh, gui shen, musk, etc.).
② Lung-Kidney-Liver Deficiency, Spleen Unable to Contain Blood
[Symptoms] Pale complexion, weak voice, occasional spontaneous sweating. Clear urine and loose stools, chronic bleeding over a long period, palpitations, cold hands and feet, bland taste, lack of appetite, weak pulse, and white, moist tongue.
[Treatment] Tonify qi and nourish yin, strengthen the spleen and stop bleeding.
[Formula] Modified Gui Pi Tang: 9g of jilin ginseng (decocted separately), 9g of bai shu, 9g of fu shen, 3g of guang mu xiang, 9g of sour jujube seed, 9g of yuan rou, 15g of chicken blood vine, 18g of sheng huang qi, 9g of dang gui, 9g of tai zi shen, 9g of han lian cao, 9g of nü zhen zi, 9g of deer antler glue, 9g of a jiao zhu, 9g of guiban jiao, 9g of huai shan yao, 9g of huang jing, 15g of bai mao gen, 6g of zhi cao.
If menstruation is heavy, add 15g of da ji and 15g of di yu tan, 15g of zong tan, 15g of calcined long gu, 15g of calcined mu li, and 15g of xian he cao; if there is hematuria, add 18g of bai mao gen and 9g of zi zhu cao.
