Three qian of pu huang, five qian of wulingzhi.

Pu grows in water, and its fragrance travels with the water, meaning water is qi. When water flows, qi flows; when qi stops, blood stops. Therefore, pu huang can stop bleeding from knife wounds, while wulingzhi has a warm scent that promotes blood circulation. Together, they are very effective at promoting blood circulation.

[Note] The formula comes from "Jufang." It promotes blood circulation and stops bleeding, used for bleeding from knife wounds.
