It treats lung deficiency, coughing, shortness of breath, and bleeding. The formula uses ginseng, licorice, and jujubes to nurture earth and generate metal, thus stabilizing the lungs; donkey-hide gelatin and Anemarrhena provide moisture; Digu Pi and White Mulberry Bark drain the fire. The lungs are the organ that governs qi, so when the lungs are clean and moist, qi naturally descends and gains the ability to contain itself, preventing phlegm and blood from interfering. Additionally, almonds are used to facilitate this process, while black plums and rice husks help consolidate it, ensuring that the lungs can properly regulate their qi and remain free from illness. This formula is complementary to Taiping Wan, Baohe Tang, Ziyuan San, Ginseng Lung-Clearing Soup, Qingzao Rescue Lung Soup, and other similar formulas, so users can infer and apply them comprehensively.

[Note] This formula originates from "Jufang." It focuses on treating the lungs, enabling them to regulate qi effectively, keeping other organs harmonious, and ensuring smooth flow of qi and blood, thereby achieving the goal of treating blood-related ailments.
