(Experience of Comrade Chen Zhiyuan from the Medical Office of a Tea Plantation in Sichuan) Mnemonic: White Clouds, Suzhou and Hangzhou, Winter Grass, Chen North, Black Charcoal, Five-Flower Child. Bai Mao Gen 30g, Bai He 30g, Bai Ji 15g, Rou Cong Rong 6g, Su Zi 6g, Hang Shao 9g, Tian Dong 15g, Mai Dong 15g, Sheng Di Huang 12g, Gan Cao 6g, Chen Pi 6g, Bei Sha Shen 15g, Hei Jie Sui 9g, Ce Bai Tan 9g, Ai Ye Tan 9g, Jiang Tan 6g, Wu Wei Zi 3g, Dong Hua 9g, Tong Bian 1 bowl. Decoct in water and take one dose daily. This formula represents the culmination of treatments for pulmonary hemoptysis and serves as a model for clinical management of hemoptysis; it combines both cold and warm herbs and employs both attacking and tonifying methods, allowing for adjustments based on individual symptoms. In addition to the above ingredients, other formulas for treating hemoptysis also incorporate Zhi Mu, Bei Mu, A Jiao, Jie Geng, Qing Dai, and Ha Fen according to specific indications.
