Asparagus cochinchinensis 15g, Rehmannia glutinosa 24g, Codonopsis pilosula 12g, Eucommia ulmoides 15g, Achyranthes bidentata 9g, Turtle shell 12g, Phellodendron amurense 3g, Atractylodes macrocephala 9g, Amomum villosum 2g, and Magnetite 30g. Mnemonic: “Three Talents Seal the Essence, Du, Niu, Gui.” This formula is based on Wu Qiu’s Heche Dazao Wan, originally a great remedy for deficiency of qi, blood, yin, and yang, especially effective in nourishing yin, replenishing essence, and filling marrow. Dr. Chi Shengye from the Wenzhou Municipal Hospital in Zhejiang Province used this formula to treat kidney deficiency-related deafness, with excellent results.
