Previously, I often used Zhang’s Epilepsy Pill to treat epilepsy. Over the years, some patients responded well, while others did not. Recently, I read Lin Xiaquan’s Anti-Epileptic Powder from Guangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which consists of: Tianma 30g, Quan Xie 30g, Dang Gui 150g, Dan Nan Xing 30g, Gan Cao 30g. All ingredients are ground into powder, with each dose being 6g, taken three times a day. Mnemonic: Tian Chong Dang Xing Cao. My father treats this condition by using one owl brain, combined with white alum, Yu Jin, Jiang Can, Quan Xie,蜈蚣, Dan Nan Xing, Ban Xia, and other ingredients. All ingredients are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills, and many patients have reported good results. Mnemonic: San Chong Bai Jin Ban Nan Xing, Yi Nao Qu Zuo Mao Tou Ying.
