Case study of treating stubborn asthmatic bronchitis on December 3, 1979
Mr. Wu, an elderly teacher from a provincial construction company, aged 66, has suffered from asthmatic bronchial pneumonia for decades. Despite Western medical treatment, there was no significant improvement. Since summer, he has experienced frequent shortness of breath and wheezing, so he came to see me. I prescribed perilla leaf, apricot kernel, Pinellia ternata, tangerine peel, Poria cocos, licorice, Citrus aurantium, Platycodon grandiflorus, dandelion, poppy shell, dried ginger, Asarum sieboldii, and Schisandra chinensis. After taking three doses, all symptoms significantly eased, and he said this formula was truly miraculous.
