Dang Gui Si Ni San Jia Wu Zhu Yu Tang, July 14, 1987

This formula treats obliterative arteritis and was created by Japanese scholar Takayama Hiroshi. Dang Gui Si Ni Tang: Angelica, Cinnamon Twig, White Peony Root, Licorice, Wood Fern, Asarum, Salvia, Ginger, and Jujube. According to "Shanghan Lun": "For hands and feet that are cold and the pulse is faint and almost absent, Dang Gui Si Ni Tang is the main prescription. If the patient has long-term deficiency internally, Dang Gui Si Ni Tang should be combined with Wu Zhu Yu Tang." This formula is used to treat obliterative arteritis; after the pain subsides, Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan can be used next. According to many documents, this disease is caused by blood stasis, and later Da Huang Mu Dan Pi Tang with Fupian can be used to improve the condition.
