This condition was previously mainly treated with Guan Xin II Hao. However, it has now been found that adding 10g of guizhi, 6g of fupian, 10g of niuxi, 6g of yujin, 6g of dananxing, 10g of wuyao, 10g of maqianzi, 6g of ganjiang, 10g of danggui, 10g of chishao, 6g of chuanxiong, 6g of banxia, 6g of chenpi, 6g of cangzhu, and 6g of houpou to Guan Xin II Hao yields significant therapeutic effects for residual symptoms of cerebral thrombosis.

Other commonly used formulas for treating this condition include: Qian Nian Jian 10g, Hai Feng Teng 10g, one maqianzi, 6g of dahuang, 10g of danggui, 20g of huangqi, 6g of shui zhi, 12g of sheng dihuang, 10g of mai dong, 3g of wu wei zi, 6g of shan ju yu, 10g of shanyao, 10g of guizhi, 6g of fupian, 10g of shihu, 6g of rou cong rong, 10g of shi chang pu, 6g of yuan zhi, and 10g of baji tian. These herbs are decocted and taken once daily, with stable and reliable therapeutic effects.
