Japanese Use of Three Formulas, June 10, 1990
Japanese scholars claim that the three formulas—Xiaochaihu Tang, Buzhong Yiqi Tang, and Shiquan Dabu Tang—can complement Western chemotherapy drugs in cancer treatment, improving patients’ blood counts and subjective symptoms while reducing chemotherapy side effects. The traditional Chinese medicines Xiaochaihu Tang, Buzhong Yiqi Tang, and Shiquan Dabu Tang mentioned in this article can all enhance patient survival rates when used in combination with anticancer drugs, promote recovery from chemotherapy-induced immune suppression, and reduce the nephrotoxicity of chemotherapy agents.
