Soft Wart Elimination Soup, July 9, 1991

Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guo Qianheng’s formula: Cangzhu 12 g, Huangbo 6 g, Sheng Yiren 30 g, Bai Zili 12 g, Gancao 6 g. Decoct in water and take one dose daily, with sesame flower juice applied externally.

This formula combines Er Miao with increased doses of Sheng Yiren and Bai Zili. Sheng Yiren is a specialized remedy for warts, while Bai Zili is a renowned dermatological medicine. Guo claims that after three doses, most flat warts will fall off immediately. Sesame flowers, also known as Hu Ma flowers, were described by Su Shi in “Records of Sensory Responses of Things” as follows: “If flesh grows into little bumps, rubbing them will make them heal.”
