30 g of Huangqi, 10 g of Dang Gui, 15 g of Bai Shao, 12 g of Sheng Di Huang, 10 g of Zaoguo Ci, 2 Ma Qian Zi, 6 Scorpions, 6 Huang Lian, 10 g of Tian Hua Fen, 20 g of Jin Yin Hua, 20 g of Lian Qiao, and 6 g of Gan Cao. This formula is decocted in water and specifically treats osteomyelitis cases where dead bone forms, cannot be expelled, and continuously oozes pus. Mnemonic: “Things prick, yellow flowers, horses, golden flowers, lian qiao, everything.”

In the spring of the Year of the Rooster, I saw a female patient at the Ju Cui Tang clinic suffering from osteomyelitis in her right tibia. She had taken Yang He Tang, Tuo Li Tou Nong Tang, Wu Wei Xiao Du Yin, and Xian Fang Huo Ming Yin over 200 times without significant improvement. I suspected there must be dead bone inside the bone, so after consulting various books, I decided to try this formula. After 20 doses, the effect was evident; the patient continued taking this formula for over 100 doses, and the pus stopped flowing, the sinus tract closed, and the disease was cured.
