Remedy for Athlete’s Foot August 25, 1994

Based on experience and imagination, I tried the following formula to see if it works:

Wumei 7 pieces, Buguozhi 10g, Digupi 10g, Mangxiao 20g, Bai Zili 20g, Borax 2g, Huangbo 15g, Bingpian 0.5g, Mingfan 2g, Shechuangzi 15g, Kusen 10g. Boil in water and wash externally. Overall, this formula can treat athlete’s foot, but it’s more suitable for those whose athlete’s foot has developed into eczema. The desensitizing effect of Wumei, along with the anti-itch effects of Buguozhi, Digupi, and Bai Zili, are all beneficial for treating eczema. Athlete’s foot is a general term for chronic itching between the toes, with 80% referring to athlete’s foot. Therefore, when formulating a remedy for this condition, it’s advisable to include a large amount of insecticidal and anti-itch ingredients. Huangbo, Kusen, Mingfan, and Shechuangzi all have such effects. It’s best to boil in water and wash while still hot.

Postscript: Over the past ten-plus years, this formula has consistently proven effective. (Added in June 2007)
