Treatment of Massive Esophageal Vein Rupture Bleeding September 10, 1994

Treating decompensated cirrhosis is a major challenge in emergency rescue.

1. Abstain from water and food for 24 hours.
2. Vitamin K3 8mg, three times daily.
3. Weifu’an 10mg, three times daily.
4. Intravenous infusion includes: ① 5% sugar saline 250mL with pituitary 10u, twice daily. ② 5% sugar saline 250mL with Anluoxue 20mg, 6-aminocaproic acid 6g, once daily. ③ 5% sugar saline 250mL with hemostatic acid 0.6g, hemostatic agent 2g, once daily. ④ 10% sugar saline 500mL with 2% procaine 20mL, vitamin C 2g, B6 20mg, insulin 8u, once daily. ⑤ Physiological saline 500mL with ampicillin 8g, KCl 1g, once daily. ⑥ 10% sodium lactate Ringer’s solution 500mL with Shengmai injection 60mL, once daily. 5. Oral hemostasis No. 1 (Haipuotuo 30g, Baiji 20g, Sanqi 15g, divided into 10 packets), four times daily.
