This drug, also known as antiemetic, has a stronger antiemetic effect than chlorpromazine. It raises the sensory threshold of the parasympathetic nervous system, reduces the transmission of visceral nerve impulses to the central nervous system, improves gastric tone, increases duodenal motility, and promotes the movement of contents toward the jejunum and ileum. It can be used for vomiting caused by various factors, taken orally at 10 mg three times daily, or injected intramuscularly at 10 mg each time, not exceeding 0.5 mg/kg per day.
