Wonderful Prescription for Hand-Foot Dermatophytosis on July 20, 1995
There is a wonderful transmission for hand-foot dermatophytosis: Huang Huo Yang Da Fan. This is also the mnemonic for this prescription. Use 12 g each of patchouli, polygonatum, raw rhubarb, and white alum, add 500 mL of alcohol, soak for seven days, and keep the clear liquid for later use. Hand-foot dermatophytosis is essentially hand eczema. There is another prescription: 1 g of Mithridate, 15 walnut kernels, and 0.3 g of borneol, grind them into powder, and apply this paste once every night.
