Treatment of Esophageal Cancer, August 12, 1996
For the treatment of this disease, I have used Qige San, Siji Tang, Banxia Houpu Tang; Mr. Zeng Junshan also frequently used Tuoli Xiaodu Dan, Psoralea corylifolia, and Millettia dielsiana. Recently, after reading the book "Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment of Tumors," I learned that Dr. Shi Lanling from the Shandong Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine often uses Shennong Wan and Jiangjun San to treat this condition, and reports indicate that they are effective.
① Shennong Wan: 10 g Semen Strychni, 2 g licorice, 3 g glutinous rice, all made into pills about the size of soybeans, each weighing approximately 0.25 g. Take 6–12 pills every night with warm water.
② Jiangjun San: 6 g borax, 6 g cinnabar, 6 g boric acid, 15 g amomum, 6 g indigo, 6 leeches, 9 g black and white ugly people, 15 g ginseng, 10 g centipede, 30 g clam powder, 15 g persimmon cake, 15 g cardamom, 60 g sugar, 15 g rhubarb, 15 g mirabilite, 6 g licorice, all ground into powder. Take 3 g three times daily. The mnemonic for this formula is: Four sands, green water, black and white people, centipede, clam, cardamom, sugar, persimmon cake.
