Over the past 20 years, I have treated more than 600,000 cases of various liver diseases, truly accumulating extensive experience. Initially, I used Xiaochaihu, Chaihu Shugan, Xiaoyao San, the Eight Formulas for Liver Diseases, Qianggan Tang, Jinche Danqi Tang, Yinyu Dangu Tonggen Tang, and other prescriptions. Later, I also employed Yiganping, Yiganing, Yiguanmin, and Yigansao for treatment. In recent years, through repeated study and practice, I discovered that the key to treating this disease lies in reinforcing vital energy and consolidating the root. Danshen, Huangqi, Huangjing, Heshouwu, Moshanlian, Gegen, Danggui, Baishao, and Xianhecao are fundamental herbs for liver treatment, with dosages ranging from 20 to 30 grams each. The aforementioned Yigansao uses all these herbs, greatly enhancing its efficacy. In recent years, the number of patients whose "big three positive" turned to "small three positive" or "small three positive" turned to negative has increased compared with before. This formula can be used alone as a prescription called "Yigan Kang," composed of: Huangqi, Xianhecao, Heshouwu, Huangjing, Shan Zhi, Gegen, Danshen, Moshanlian, Danggui, and Baishao.

Mnemonic: Yellow River, Yellow Mountain, Gegen, Danshen, Moshanlian—Danggui and Baishao closely connected. "Gegen, Danshen, Moshanlian" is a homophone for Ge Shuhan, a famous general of the Western Han Dynasty.
