Wuyao Shunqi San 1997.12.10

Wuyao Shunqi San originates from the Taiping Huimin Heji Ju Fang: Ma Huang 10g, Jiangcan 6g, Chenpi 6g, Wuyao 6g, Chuanxiong 6g, Baizhi 6g, Ganjiang 6g, Jiegeng 20g, Gancao 6g, and ginger-jujube decoction as the guiding agent.

Indications: Pain in the joints of the limbs, widespread numbness, mild paralysis in bed, slurred speech, distension and fullness in both flanks, abdominal bloating, vomiting, and intestinal rumbling. These indications correspond to modern medical diagnoses such as rheumatism, gastric disorders, and polyneuritis. Rural women are particularly prone to these conditions due to long-term malnutrition, which leads to the development of these symptoms.

Mnemonic: Wuyao Shunqi, Ma Huang, Chenpi, Ganjiang; Chuanxiong, Baizhi, Ganjiang hidden; Jiegeng and Gancao ground together; ginger-jujube decoction for recovery.
