Urinary Tract Stones 1997.12.11
The "Compendium of Contemporary Famous Doctors' Experience" lists six prescriptions for treating this condition. Three include Jinqiancao, with dosages ranging from 30 to 75 grams; four include Jineijin, with dosages ranging from 6 to 15 grams; two include Haijinsha, with dosages around 20 grams; three include Cheqianzi, with dosages around 10 grams; and three include Huashi, with dosages around 10 grams. Dahuang, Zhishi, Taoren, Sanleng, Eshu, Borax, Amber, Bixie, Niuxi, Daji, Wan Can Sha, and other herbs appear once each. In summary, Jineijin, Jinqiancao, Cheqianzi, Huashi, and Haijinsha are the most commonly used herbs. Wuyao and Dongkuizi are also frequently used in my treatment of this condition. I have two highly effective prescriptions:
Mnemonic: Five vehicles, red gold, yi, peach, ox; chicken and rabbit share the same cage, white tiger born; sea, peach, gold, real, deer, cow. These five pairs of herbs: Sanleng and Eshu, seaweed and kelp, frankincense and myrrh, pangolin and soapberry thorns, Zhishi and Houpu.
Referencing the "Journal of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine" (Issue 11, 1989), Li's Three Gold, Wood, Car, Five Mountains, Great承气 Soup; and the "Shandong Medical Journal" (Issue 5, 1885), Four Gold, Three Stone, White Ox, Three Wheat, Wood通 Formula, treating kidney stones can be summarized as follows: Four Gold: Jinqiancao, Jineijin, Haijinsha, Yu Jin; Three Stone: Shiwei, Huashi, Hai Fushi; Sanleng, Pangolin, Wang Buliu Xing, Mutong, Qu Mai, Bai Mao Gen, Dongkuizi, Cheqianzi. For clearing heat, use Baihua She She Cao and Ban Zhi Lian; for promoting bowel movements, use Dahuang and Niuxi. If still ineffective, use the Great承气 Soup.
