  1. Chaipu Tang (Chaihu 10g, Huangqin 10g, Banxia 6g, Dang Shen 10g, Gancao 6g, Shengjiang 6g, Dazao 4 pieces, Houpu 6g, Sugeng 10g, Chenpi 6g, Fuling 12g), used to treat unexplained chest discomfort. This formula is a combination of Xiaochaihu and Banxia Houpu Tang.

  2. Huanglian Jiedu Tang (Huanglian 6g, Huangqin 10g, Huangbo 6g, Shan Zhi 10g), used to treat manic states and insomnia. In addition, it can also treat hypertension and diabetes.

  3. Yigan San (Chaihu, Danggui, Cangzhu, Chuanxiong, Fuling, Gouteng) removes Gouteng. Zhang Jingyue's Yigan San is the main prescription for treating neurasthenia, but Japanese people remove Gouteng for unknown reasons. I believe that removing Gouteng makes Yigan San lose its sedative effect.
